Pita Chips
Commercially made chips are high in salt and fat, which is why they are so tasty. Fortunately there is a quick and easy way to make your own chips, controlling the amount of fat and salt, that are pretty tasty too.
Use any whole wheat pita pocket or flatbread and slice with a pizza cutter into wedges. Line a large baking sheet with foil. Lay out wedges in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil and salt sparingly with sea salt. (For more intense flavor you could add curry powder, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, etc.) Bake at 350 degrees until your desired crispiness. (Usually about 25 minutes depending on thickness of flatbread.) They will last about 5 days.
