Homemade Snacks! (Granola Bars)


Homemade is healthy! Remember treats are still treats so you should mind your portions!
  • Melt 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan with 1/3 cup honey and 1/3 cup brown sugar and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix in two cups of rolled oats.
  • Mix in 1 cup of each of chopped nuts and dried fruit (you could use coconut flakes, dark chocolate as well)
  • Mix in 2-4 tbsp of wheat germ or flax meal.
  • Press into a parchment-lined 8 inch square pan.
  • Bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees.
  • Cool, then cut into bars.
